Quick Start Guide
Follow these steps to quickly get started with editing your content in Rejig:
Upload
Press the Upload button in the sidebar and either drag or select files to upload. Once the processing is complete, open the new project from the list in the sidebar.Open Editor
Click the "Edit" button on your project to open the transcript-based editor.Review Transcript
Review the text of the automatically-generated transcript. Press space to play/pause, and click the transcript to navigate. Fix any mistakes by holding Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) while clicking a line.Review Speakers
Check the automatically assigned speaker names. Click on a name to change it, or type in a different name and press Enter. Select "Rename similar voices" to also change lines that have a similar-sounding voice.Adjust Chapters
Click the bookmark icon in the top-right to view the suggested chapter points and titles. Click on a chapter title to jump to it in the transcript. Edit, insert, delete, or re-generate them as needed for clarity and structure.Add Tags:
Add relevant tags to lines or sections that might be useful for guiding AI-powered editing later.Create a Version:
Define a set of rules or instructions to create a new draft edit (e.g., "remove chapter 2," "reduce duration to 10 minutes," "remove lines spoken by Dave").Preview & Refine:
Preview the generated edit. The transcript will show proposed cuts. You can manually toggle lines on or off to fine-tune the edit.Export:
Once satisfied, export your version as a rendered media file, or as a timeline for use in other editing software.Generate Additional Material:
Use Rejig to create transcripts, summaries, or any other content you need.Publish:
Share your finished content on your chosen platform(s).
