Export Video/Audio
This option allows you to render an edited version of your project into a new video or audio file. The rendering process will implement the edits you've made, removing any lines that are crossed out in the version's transcript. Currently, these removals are executed as jump cuts.
You can initiate an export in two ways:
From the Project screen:
Navigate to the "Versions" tab, click on the dropdown menu for the version you want, and select "Export".From the Edit screen:
Open the desired version using the sidebar, and click the "Export" button in the top-right corner.
In the Export window, click on the "Video" or "Audio" tab to select your desired output type, then configure the specific options for your chosen format. Once Rejig has finished processing the export, the resulting file will appear in the "Assets" tab on your project screen, ready for download.
Video options
Video files are exported in the .mp4 container format, using the AAC audio codec, and either H.264 (AVC) or H.265 (HEVC) video codec.
You can configure the audio bitrate and the target video quality. Rejig's video encoder uses a rate control mode (Constant Rate Factor - CRF) to achieve a certain output quality for the entire file. The available CRF settings are:
H.264
Low: 28
Medium: 24
High: 20
H.265
Low: 32
Medium: 28
High: 24
Audio options
When exporting an audio-only file, select your desired output format (AAC, MP3, WAV, FLAC). For lossy formats, you can set the audio bitrate. The exported audio will use the same sample rate and bit depth as your original uploaded file.
