Create Content

Rejig allows you to easily generate a variety of text-based content derived from your project's transcript and metadata. This not only streamlines additional production tasks but can also significantly enhance how your audience discovers, navigates, and engages with your final production.

To create new content:

  • For the full, original transcript:
    Navigate to the Project screen and click the "Create" button associated with your project.

  • For a specific version's transcript:
    On the Project screen, go to the "Versions" tab, open the dropdown menu for the desired version, and select "Create".

Select which type of content you want to create and follow the instructions below. When you save your creation, it will appear under the "Assets" tab in your project dashboard.

Transcript

This option allows you to create a text version of your transcript with several formatting choices:

  • Line break:
    Choose this to insert a line break after each line of speech.

  • Chapters:
    This will break the transcript into chapters and insert the chapter titles.

  • Speaker names:
    Include this to insert the speaker's name each time the speaker changes within the transcript.

  • Timestamps:
    This will insert timestamps in the format HH:MM:SS. These will be inserted at one of the following points (in order of preference), depending on which options are selected:

    • Start of each line (if line break selected)

    • Each change of speaker (if speaker names selected)

    • Start of each chapter (if chapters selected)

  • Music:
    If selected, descriptions of music (e.g., [Music: upbeat music]) present in the transcript will be included.

  • Effects:
    If selected, descriptions of sound effects (e.g., [Fx: door slams]) present in the transcript will be included.

Summary

This will generate a concise summary of your transcript content. Simply select the "Summary" option, use the provided options to configure the desired length and style, then click "Generate".

The AI-generated summary will appear in the text box below. You can then edit the text directly to refine it. Note that pressing "Generate" again will overwrite the existing summary text with a replacement based on your current settings.

This will generate an image that can be used as a thumbnail to promote your content. The design will attempt to visually represent the topic of discussion.

Simply select the desired aspect ratio and visual style, then click "Generate". If you are happy with the result, press "Save", otherwise click "Generate" again to see a new option.
